The grey nuance in the fabric reflect less from the surroundings than a regular white fabric and therefore delivers improved image dynamics. However, this is at a cost of gain (the amount of light reflected), about 20% less compared to the BrightWhite fabric. Still, since image dynamics and contrast is of such importance for the perceived quality of the image, our clear recommendation is to use the BrightWhite fabric only in highly light-reflective-controlled rooms with dark / non-reflective ceilings, floors and walls surrounding the screen.
